Check out this Multi Ticket concept from designer Bence Bogar.

The idea is that when you arrive at an amusement park, or an event venue you are given the multi ticket, which is a credit card sized electronic device which surface is covered with an LED touchscreen grid called the MindPad, which functions as a guide, navigation, search and payment.

This is a great design, which could be customized for a variety of uses, imagine a train ticket which you could program yourself for your specified journey. The LED based interface makes customization catering to each event easy. The possibilities are endless.
