Sony’s New PSP - Slimmer, Lighter, with Video Out

Sony have announced details of their upgraded PSP console.

The new PSP  named the PSP Slim & Lite weighs just 189 grams compared to 280 grams of the current model, and just 18.6mm thick compared to 23mm on the current model.

The new console will feature a video out port which will let users play games, watch movies and view pics on their TV’s.

The new model is equipped with enhanced feature to temporarily store game data from UMD, reducing load time during game play, there is also a feature to charge the new PSP via your PS3 or PC.

It will come in three colours, white, silver and white and there will also be a Star Wars Battlefront special edition.

The new PSP will go on sale in Japan, US and Europe on September.
