Amazing PC Desk Made From $800,000 Of Computer Chips
Check out this PC desk made from CPU’s.

It was made my Matt Tovey from 434 discarded Itanium CPU’s.
The CPU modules were scrapped as part of a supercomputer upgrade, and the chips had a list price of $800,000 in 2006.

The desk contains the equivalent of 2.8 TFLOPS of computing power, about the same as 900 3.2GHz P4s. Matt started with a plain desk, tiled in the CPU’s, and added wooden edging and a beveled glass top.
This desk is truly amazing, I bet if he was to go into producing these desks he would get a lot of orders, they wouldn’t be cheap though.
