MSI’s Twin Turbo GFX Card - Overclocking At The Push Of A Button

August 28, 2007

Check out MSI’s latest GFX card the NX8600GT Twin Turbo.

The NX8600GT Twin Turbo has two vBios chips, which allows the card to have two sets of core and memory clock settings, normal and turbo.

There is a Turbo button on the hack plate of the card, when pressed it overclocks the card into turbo mode.

The things that are affected by the turbo button appear to be the core, shader, and memory clocks, each being bumped by 7, 4, and 14 percent respectively.

It could be a bit of a pain reaching round the back of you PC, but it seems like a cool idea.
