Concept - The Laptop Dock Transforming PC
August 31, 2007
Check out this concept laptop dock from designer Yong-Seong Kim.

The laptop dock is actually an LCD screen with a large space behind it where you slide in your laptop.

The laptops screen also acts as a secondary display, in portrait mode. It seems like an interesting concept.

If this comes out with Linux drivers(or they follow soon enough) I know what my next laptop will be.
This IS tech sex.
Usually I’d care, but I fail to see the purpose of this. Seems like just another big LCD screen - waste of money.
wow, wonder how much it will cost…
If it comes with GNU/Linux, costs less than the current crop of GNU/Linux laptops from Lenovo, System76, or the Dells, some of which sell for $699 or less.
Refurbished Dells that start at $229 with full warranty work well for me, also.
But, ‘cool’ does not equate to processing power in a streamlined and functional ‘Nix system!
I won’t pay extra for ‘coolness’. That is simply stupid, and bling-bling is what Microsoft has used so the younger generations are pwn3d!
Yeah, I was playing Defender in ASCII on my CP/M H89 system, before most of you were conceived!
Wow. This truly reinforces my belief that computer dorks are truly sad individuals who should all be euthanized to rid us of their dangerous absurdities. Most especially Linux freaks. Freaking commies, the whole lot. Why do you traitors hate America? Why can’t you just accept that Microsoft has the superior product and stop stealing from them? Every time you use a non-Microsoft product, you’re stealing their ideas. You’re using something that’s a blatant ripoff of their original work. AND you’re not giving them one red cent for their hard work. You’re the most worthless scum on the planet. Why don’t you just all move out of your mom’s basement, get REAL jobs, and quit whining about computers being too expensive. Ever stop to think that maybe you can’t afford a REAL computer because you’re a freaking LOSER? Please stop wasting my money. Thanks.
Joshua that’s funny, since the blog lists your browser as Firefox… if you love MS so much, why not use IE… shudder…
