Google Sponsors Moon Landing Competition
September 14, 2007
Google has announced a competition for private firms to land on the moon with a top prize of 20 million dollars.

The total prize fund for the competition is 30 million, and firms interested in competing have until 2012.
A number of tasks other than landing on the moon include roaming the surface of the moon, and gathering a specific set of images, video and data.
Don’t expect to see a GadgetTastic sponsored Moon mission anytime soon.
