Check out this clever gadget from Dymo.
The Dymo DiscPainter is an ideal solution for printing labels on your CD’s or DVD’s, rather than having to stick on a label that you have printed, which is quite tricky, the Dymo DiscPainter paints the image directly onto your CD or DVD.
Printing directly onto the disc at a resolution of 600dpi or larger, the DiscPainter can produce professional looking CD printing in less than 3 minutes.

It will go on sale next month for $280 (about £140) and each cartridge which will cost $30 (about £15) can print 100 CD’s in full colour.

I recently purchased a DiscPainter and use it almost every day. I have a large collection of DVDs and CDs and for years I used those stickers and a Cannon printer that printed on disks. Each printing job was an adventure in frustration. Often they would find a way to jam, peel, or end up with a most unwanted blob of ink where it aught not be.
With the DiscPainter my life got a lot easier. It prints in only 1 minute and the results have been clean, crisp, and error free. This year I am sending out holiday greetings on discs. The DiscPainter will let me make the outside of the disc look as good as the pictures on the inside.
I need to get one of these DiscPainters! I have a sticker labeling system that is so useless that I only use it to print actual stickers for my daughter. Her room is covered in tons of donut shaped Sponge Bob stickers…
I recently got this printer and couldn’t be happier with it. ….it does exactly what i need it to do….whihc is print great covers on my cds…and it maeks my life easier b/c its mac compatible…..i print using the software it comes with or through photoshop….i would definitely recommend this printer.
I bought this thing about a month ago and haven’t stopped using it since. Its great 4 quick jobs like putting a logo on the cd b4 running out the door. I like that it is sooo fast…my logo takes me less than a min i mena its a min and i just use it b4 getting ready and running out my house.
