Sony have revealed details of the first of their super slim OLED TV’s.

The XEL-1 OLED TV measure just 3mm thick, and has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

It features an 11inch screen, a built in tuner and a resolution of 960 x 450.

There are plenty of inputs to choose from including HDMI, USB and Ethernet, and it also has two built in 1w speakers.

It will go on sale in December in Japan for about $1700 (about £850).

    Also Toshiba wants to roll out a 30 inch OLED-TV in 2009!
    I think in 2010 OLED can be competite against Plasma tv and LCD-TV
