Belkin has launched a new gaming controller, the n52te Speedpad.

It comes with a combination of hardware and software that is aimed at, online RPG, first person shooter, and real time trategy games.

There are 15 programmable buttons, that are programed via the software (which is from Razer), and then saved to the devices onboard memory, and connects via USB.

I have to admit it looks pretty cool, I think I may have to try it out, to see if it improves my gaming skills.

It will go on sale in the US and Europe in November for $70 (about £35)

That looks really nice. I have been trying to decide what to get for Everquest 2. I have been thinking about the G15 keyboard, but maybe this would be better.

I have the original version of this, the n52, and swear by it. I use it for any type of game, but i didn’t pay $70 for it. Maybe $30.

Meh. Looks just like the Nostromo Gampad except it’s blue instead of warning marker orange.

Looks like they still don’t understand that one size doesn’t fit all. The Nostromo I have is awesome except for the fact that’s layout is not alterable. So if you have short fingers or long ones it makes using the pad a bit cumbersome.

Also I would have preferred a knob directional pad vs the flat one both of these units come in.

Beside that if it still has the same configuration abilities that is defnitely a plus.
