“The Fujitsu LifeBook V Series expands the company’s reach into price-conscious markets, which place equally high priority on reliability and price,” said Paul Moore, senior director of mobile product marketing, Fujitsu Computer Systems. “The high-performance LifeBook V1010 notebook offers excellent value, delivering all the computing power and features these markets need with the quality Fujitsu is known for, and at a price they have been longing for.”

Priced starting at just $799(1), the full-sized LifeBook V1010 features a 15.4-inch wide Crystal View high-contrast display, 120 GB hard drive, and Atheros Super AG(R) Wireless LAN, dual-layer multi-format DVD writer, and spill-resistant keyboard.

The LifeBook V1010 notebook offers a choice of operating systems, including Windows Vista(R) Business or Windows(R) XP Professional, and a choice of processors, including the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T5200 and the Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual Core T2130.

The LifeBook V1010 notebook is available immediately through authorized Fujitsu channel partners and the Fujitsu website. The LifeBook V1010 notebook with Windows Vista(R) Business or Windows(R) XP Professional and the Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual Core T2130 is priced at $799. The LifeBook V1010 notebook with Windows Vista(R) Business, the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T5200 and an impressive two GB of memory is priced at $899.
