Cool Mods - The Water Cooled PS3
Check out this water cooled PS3.

We’ve yet to hear a single complaint about Sony’s monolith overheating, but that didn’t stop PS3 fan (and dragon aficionado) Dragonpower from drilling some holes into the bottom of his PS3, running liquid coolant over the processors, and adding some extra fans just for good measure. The end result: 32ºC (90ºF, 305.15ºK) under heavy load. Oh, and it’s “almost dead silent,” which we’re assuming is a step down from “dead silent.”

Crikey! so even with water cooling it runs at over 32-c?
My Xbox360 doesn’t seem to get above 30c.
Hrm.
word
They even tested it at what-50c(The room was 50c, console was probably at 55c or so)-And it was still running fine. Well, PS3 was…Not so sure about 360…
Wow, someone’s got lots of money to burn. What a waste.
Bob, are you kidding? 32C is a great temperature. If your Xbox360 ran at 30C on stock, it would be cool to the touch. That’s ridiculous and impossible, especially for the Xbox.
my GF is 32C. I tell her that is the perfect size.
Haven’t heard about the PS3’s heat? what about the fire it set in Japan killing 9 people? nice job on the mod btw, it might keep the beast cool for once lol
32C is ridiculous thats a great temperature. Most of the PS3’s I’ve seen have been running way over that. As for the 360’s they run way hotter as well
