Cool Gadgets - The Exploding Piggy Bank from Tomy

Check out the exploding piggy bank, shaped like a bomb from Takara Tomy.

You have to add coins to this piggy bank every day, and if you don’t the electronic device inside will realise you haven’t saved any of your hard earned dosh and it will explode, sending coins flying everywhere.

It will let you know that you need to add coins by vibrating and flashing its lights and make a sound once an hour until you give it some money.

It will go on sale in January for about $27 (about £14)
