Lantic Systems have launched the World’s most expensive remote control.

This solid gold version of their RC1 remote will cost you a massive $55,000 (about £27,500).

Why the hell anyone would spend that sort of money on a remote amazes me.

    I would be afraid to touch it, let alone flip through channels with it.

    If you like TV that much, you need to rethink your life. Unless you are actually rich enough for that…

    I bet if they sold just one, they would make enough profit to last a month!
