Check out this cool concept MP3 Player from designer Chetan Sorab.

The main unit houses an OLED screen, 4-way directional toggle, and 50GB of memory.

You can add memory to it by snapping on another block, just like Lego.

    Yawn.

It’s yet another MP3 player. But this time, it’s got a proprietary memory format! Great! You know, cause proprietary, single-use hardware is so handy!

    Stop boring me.

I like the concept; BTW, those blocks seem to say 50 GB of flash memory, which would be much, much better.

The poster means 50GB, not 50MB, as if you look in the last picture at the red brick in front, it is labeled: “50GB”.

It would be cool to have batteries you can snap on as well and speakers. This “toy” could go a long way and it would be neat if it could attach to real lego as well. (Lego ports on computers?)

Wow, just think, if you could get them set up so that a computer could use them as a hard drive, just create a stack of them jsut inside the tower…

I think you’d have a couple of terabytes, at least, before long…
