This has to be one of the strangest gadgets I have seen yet, the iPond portable aquarium speaker.

It’s a portable speaker for your iPod or MP3 player with a difference, it has a built in fish tank.

It is on sale in Australia and comes with gravel, water and a live fish. It has a built in speaker at the bottom and a headphone jack.

Seriously, this really is a pointless gadget, why anyone would want to carry a fish around with them in such a small tank, I don’t know, and the RSPCA in Australia is asking for the iPond to be banned, as fish should really have a minimum of three gallons of water to live in and the iPond has about two. and a half cups

The iPond is on sale in Australia for around $60 (about £30).
