Linksys Wireless-G Internet Camera

With its own built in web server this camera is perfect for up loading images and streaming video direct to the web over Wireless-G (802.11g) networking, or 10/100 Ethernet cable and supports MPEG4 & Motion JPEG video encoding upto 640 x 480 pixels.

You can also turn on the built in Security Mode, which tells the camera to send a message with a short video attached to up to three email addresses whenever it detects motion in its field of view. You can then log onto the live video stream if the situation warrants. The included Viewer & Recorder utility lets you record the audio/video stream to your local hard drive, “live” or on a predetermined schedule.

Available for $120 about £65 this is an affordable security option
