Worlds Smallest 3CCD HD camera from Toshiba
Toshiba will be showing their tiny HD camera (which is slightly larger than a sugar cube) at NAB Show later this month. The IK-HD1 is perfect for Scientific imaging /diagnostics, Specialty broadcast, Homeland security and Industrial video / inspection applications but we’re sure this technoogy will trickle down to consumer cameras before too long. Tosh even notes that its ability to capture at 1,920 x 1,080 at 30fps makes it “highly suitable for reality TV.

The amazing true color IK-HD1 delivers the clearest, sharpest picture available - from the world’s smallest 3CCD camera head. Our unique prism block technology gives you impeccably sharp detail with a picture so real you’d think you were there. At only 65 grams, our tiny 1.6” camera head goes anywhere you need it – from the control room to the operating room, on a helmet or on the production line.
