According to the guys over at Everything USB, you can now watch TV on your Asus Eee PC. Preliminary tests have shown that playback worked fine on all but H.264 software decoding. So don’t expect HDTV playback on your Eee PC just yet.

You will need an Asus My Cinema U3100 Mini DVB-T USB TV tuner, which now works thanks to some updated Linux drivers from Asus.

The USB TV tuner was tested out by a Hong Kong based magazine and the tuner worked well except for h.264 software decoding, channels which were sent over MPEG-2 worked perfectly on the Asus Eee.
