E-paper Jacket
Check out this E-paper jacket by Lunar Design. The Blu Jacket is a design concept that uses flexible organic e-paper to show passersby your mood, subway maps as you see here, or can even play video advertisements.
Technologies with names like e-paper and flexible organics are in labs across the world. They are patented futuristic fabrics capable of displaying still and video images. Based on the promise of electronic fabric, Lunar’s BLU project generated several ideas, placing future technologies in the context of the street. Imagine a jacket that could display your mood throughout the day, offer maps on your sleeve for city navigation, or flash intriguing advertisements to passersby — a fashionable twist on the age-old human sandwich board.
