This Mitsubishi Flat Panel Television project was a design collaboration between the Mitsubishi Design Center Japan and Ashcraft Design, which has years of product consulting experience. This futuristic 50-inch flat-panel TV concept explores the colors, materials and interior trends in the United States.

The design studies the feasibility of going beyond the conventional picture to include LCD monitor modules with video camera that links user with the security features, child monitoring capabilities, real time video sharing and two way video communications.

The modules have been hidden neatly within the TV and when activated, stylishly extend to enrich the users with horizontal 16:9 cinematic experience. A Mitsubishi logo is there in the glass and edge lighted with a soft blue light. Neatly done! Isn’t it?
