MPX1500T Wireless HD Transmitter
Avocent have just announced their new device which allows you wirelessly distribute HD content called the Avocent MPX1500T and it prices around $995. It’s target is primarily towards digital signage systems but it looks to have in home uses as well.
The MPX1500T transmitter has a universal media port based upon a digital video interface (DVI) connector. Supporting both digital and analog video signals allows the MPX to use DVI, HDMI, or VGA signals. The product can even perform a VGA to DVI conversion if your source is a computer and your display needs to be digital. The MPX system works like a video splitter and a video extender by wirelessly delivering audio and video to multiple displays up to 1000 feet away.
The Avocent MPX1500T is used to push HD content wirelessly from a source to multiple destinations. The transmitter sports a DVI connector and, supporting both digital and analog video signals, can use DVI, HDMI or VGA signals.
Avocent says its MPX1500T works like a video splitter and video extender to send A/V signals up to a 1000 feet away. It is available now from Avocent
