SONY’s Thinnest Digital Camera DSC-T77

Sony has announced the addition of a two new digital cameras to its line up. The first is called the Sony DSC-T77 which is ts 10-megapixel camera and the thinnest camera in Sony’s line at only 5/8 of an inch thick. The rear LCD on the T77 is 3-inches wide and is touch sensitive.

Other features of the camera include intelligent scene recognition, Smile shutter, and face detection with settings for adult and child priority. The camera also has an ISO sensitivity of up to 3200.

The Sony DSC-T700 is the more advanced of the pair of new cameras announced. In addition to snapping pictures, Sony says it is a photo album in your pocket as well.

The T700 has 4GB of internal memory that allows you to store almost 1000 full resolution photos. The camera sports a 3.5-inch touch panel LCD and is only a bit more than 5/8-inch thick.

The DSC-T77 will retail for $300 in late September and the DSC-T700 will retail for $400.
