Parrot Mki In Car Bluetooth Kit
Parrots latest bluetooth car kit the MKi is a ‘fitted’ design, which means it’s intended to be wired permanently into the cars dashboard and connected to the stereo so it can mute sounds when calls arrive. You’ll hear the caller on the other end through your car’s speaker system and you can make and receive calls using the controls on the unit itself.
What’s fancy about this new design is that it comes with direct connections for iPods which allows it to display album art and other details on a 2.4″ colour screen.
You’ll need the high-end model (the MKi9200) for this though, with lesser devices in the range being the MKi9100 that uses a monochrome screen and the MKi9000 that ditches the display altogether.
All of them offer self-learning voice recognition, contact search and text-to speech and come with a multi-functional remote. There’s also an optional MultiCAN accessory that will allow you to use steering-mounted controls to handle calls where applicable.
They will all be available in the Uk this autumn priced at £129.99, mid-range at £149.99 and colour screen option at £189.99.
