The Fitbit
Fitbit is a company that is headquartered in California, United States. California is considered on the nation’s fittest and slimmest states so it seems only natural that the state is home to the Fitbit. The Fitbit is a wireless-enabled device that is perfect for people who are concerned about their activity levels and have a strong desire to stay in shape.

The Fitbit was created with the same type of technology that is found in the Nintendo Wii. In the Wii, there is an accelerometer that is used to sense movement. The Fitbit has a three-dimensional accelerometer incorporated into the device.
Some of the things that the Fitbit measures are the quality of sleep, personal metrics, and the number of steps walked. The only activity that the Fitbit is unable to track is swimming. The device is not water-resistant and cannot be worn during a swim. The Fitbit tracks a person’s motion and then is able to give feedback and useful information pertaining to how a person is actively living their life. The device also has a great battery that can last for ten or more days before it needs to be charged. Once the device needs to be charged, people can simply put it on its wireless bass station where it will recharge as well as process the data it has received.
The Fitbit can be worn quite easily. Most individuals may simply keep the device in their pocket, but it can also be worn on the wrist or attached to the undergarments. Because the Fitbit has such wonderful uses and features, most people would expect to pay several hundred dollars for the device. Fortunately, the Fitbit is reasonably priced and retails for $99. The device has been in high demand since it was first released, and the manufacturer is currently taking pre-orders.
