Joker Racer and Remote Control Cars
The Joker Racer service is one of a kind. It’s the first Linux service that was designed specifically for remote control cars. The service works by enabling people to drive their joker racer cars remotely over the internet. The Linux service is user friendly and has a simple web-based interface. The joker racer cars are also equipped with a GPS tracking device so that people can keep a firm grasp on the location of their cars.

The system works by using a custom wireless computer that receives digital information via Wi-Fi, and then translates it into control signals for the remote control cars.  The car comes equipped with a compact webcam so that people can see where they are going.
By using the Joker Racer service, people can participate in remote control races from wherever they are. The service also offers a real time chat feature so that people can easily communicate with each other as they are driving the cars.
There is also the prospect of an iPhone application that will be available in 2010 that will allow people to drive their Joker Racer car using their iPhone. The gadget is an interesting one for individuals interested in driving a remote control car via the internet.
