The SoundRacer was created for people that don’t have a sports car but would love their car to sound as if it is one.  The SoundRacer works by sensing and calculating the car engine’s rpms and then producing a sound like an engine of a sports car.  The device has a built in FM transmitter that transfers the sounds to the car stereo system through a selectable frequency.

The SoundRacer doesn’t use the same sound repeatedly.  The sound changes as a person drives.  When driving, the SoundRacer will make the engine sound as if the individual is increasing in speed so that the ride sounds exciting.

The SoundRacer is believable.  As a person accelerates, shifts, or cruises it creates different sounds to make a person feel as if they truly are driving a sports car.  The SoundRacer is very simple to use and only needs to plug into the cigarette lighter socket.  There is no installation required and users just need to ensure that the frequency of the device is connected to the stereo.

The SoundRacer comes in two different forms. There is the SoundRacer V8 and the Soundracer V10.  Consumers can pay about $40 for the SoundRacer.
