Sporks were first manufactured in the late 1800s.  The utensil was designed to serve as a spoon and a fork in one.  Sporks are made out of a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, silver and plastic.  The TAD Gear folding spork is made out of titanium.  The spork is one of the company’s newest and most improved sporks.

The company decided to design the spork using titanium because the metal is less likely to suffer damage.  Titanium is also less prone to bending.  The Folding Titanium Spork offers three tools in one.  The first tool is the spork itself, and the other tools include a bottle cap lifter and a can opener.

Sporks have multiple uses.  It’s not a very sharp utensil but it can easily be used to eat vegetables, meat, fish, and chicken.  The spoon also works well and is perfect for soup or similar dishes.

The Folding Titanium Spork also comes with a clip so that it can be easily attached to a person’s belt, pocket, or backpack.  It’s a great tool for someone that camps, hikes, or is considered outdoorsy.
