Good idea for entertaining cats, but don’t veterinarians recommend making sure that the cat never looks directly into the laser? While this is running on auto, there is nothing to protect the cat’s retina if it chooses to look at the beam.

I didn’t think of that. And cats are pretty smart (unlike dogs) so they might take a peak into the laser. Curiosity did kill the cat.

What a great idea! my cat will love it so much.

My wife and I bought one of these for our cat and weren’t too impressed with it while it was working. It’s a laser pointer mounted on a motor spinning around. T he mirror has to be controlled manually for keeping the pointer in your cats reach. About the time the cat was getting into it, it stopped working. We had it less than a day before returning it and getting a cheaper device that does the same thing.
