SONY has created strange looking set of headphones called the PFVR-V1. Described by Sony as a “marriage between headphones and speakers.” Two 1-inch die-cast aluminum speakers connected by a lightweight metal headband position the speakers about a half inch from the outer ear and direct the front of the speakers toward the ear canal.

Sony says this design, which delivers audio from multiple directions, provides “mid- and high-range audio frequencies in a field of sound aimed toward the outer ear, while the bass frequency sound is delivered directly to the ear canal via the extended bass reflex ducts.” Sounds interesting if it indeeds does as the advertising reads.

Share your iPod Songs via miShare

February 4, 2008 at 8:05 am

If you need to copy songs from one iPod to another then the miShare can help. The miShare connects directly between two iPods and will copy song at the touch of a button without the need for a computer. A single button press copies the last song or video played or a pre-selected photo folder. A longer press duplicates any files you’ve got stored in your current On-The-Go playlist, so you can easily copy multiple files.

Unfortunately, the miShare doesn’t currently work with the iPhone or iPod Touch, but should work fine with all other iPods with the standard 30-pin dock connector (Mini, Nano, 3G, 4G, Video (5G), and Classic (6G) models).
