Hey guys, just a short post to introduce our new Editor Julian {gadgetgeek}, who is taking over from me as the main editor of Gadgettastic.
I will still be around posting here on a regular basis, and you can also check out our new site, which I am the main editor of which is geeky gadgets, make sure you head on over there and also subscribe to our RSS Feed.
There will be lots of exciting things coming up on Gadgettastic over the next few months, including a complete re-design.

Check out this amazing Motorbike, powered by 24 chainsaw engines.
The chainsaw engines are controlled with a 5 speed Harley Davidson gearbox and linked with a series of 12 totthed belts.

Merry Christmas to all our readers, I hope you all have a great Christmas and a happy new year.
There won’t be much gadget news today, I shall be spending most of the day plonked on the sofa watching crap TV after eating and drinking to much , probably like most of you will.

Gadgettastic - back online after a brief outtage
Just a short note to let you guys know we are back online, after a brief downtime of about 5 minutes.
Thanks to our web hostsing providers over at Rackspace for being on the ball and fixing the problem so quickly.
This was the first time Gadgettastic has been offline since it started just under six months ago, and I have to admit it was quite scary (more scary than a BSOD on windows) when I tried to log into my control panel to write a new post and I couldn’t.
Anyway back to gadgets and stuff, and sorry for the downtime

New Iron Man Trailer Released
Ok so I don’t usually feature movie trailers on the site, but this one rocks.
Based on Marvel’s best selling comice book, Iron Man is due to be released next year.

GadgetTastic Ranked Number 1 on Technorati
Well after two months, and two weeks GadgetTastic has made it to the No1 Blog on Technorati (in my dreams).
Due to some weird bug on Technorati its is showing this blog as the Number 1 blog, and it seems we are not the only ones.
It would appear that every blog on Technorati is showing up as the number one blog.
I hope they fix this soon, but I think they should leave us at Number 1.
