Mac OS X runs on the Asus Eee PC
Dan over at UNEASYsilence has managed to get OS X running on his Eee PC.

So, ever since I got the eeePC I’ve loved how easy it is to tinker with. Since I’m not a Linux guy, I dumped the Xandros preload and opted for Windows XP so I could you my EVDO USB datacard and blogging software easier, but I wondered could I install OSX on it? And, after trial and error - you can!
Firstly he managed to get Leopard running, but with the Eee PC’s limited specs it wasn’t running to fast, so he installed Tiger and apparantly it runs pretty well.
Head on over to UNEASYsilence for full details of the hack.

Cool Concept - the Visual Wireless Desktop Charger
Check out this cool concept wireless desktop charger from designer Sun Kyung Kim.

One of the holy grails of recharge technology is wireless and tho there are products now that do it via induction, they’re all oogly. That’s where designers like Sun Kyung Kim step in to infuse a little pretty. This charger doesn’t have a name yet but it’s quite endearing.
He reasons humans like visual indicators of everything and the charge status of a mobile phone is no different. Current wireless induction pads don’t give any visual indication of charge status so Sun Kyung envisages a bird bath-like charger, complete with radiating rings of light to indicate charge status and to top it all off, thirsty birds that glow once the rings of light hit ‘em.
