SONY Launches 5 New Earphones
Sony has just launched five new sets of earphones which look very spacey comprising of regular in-ear offerings together with wireless Bluetooth options.
The MDR-EX33LP and MDR-EX35LP in-ear headphones are available in 5 and 3 “pearlescent and metallic colours”, respectively.

Sony Japan just announced their new Bluetooth headphones, the DR-BT140QP. They look very futuristic and feature Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR with support for A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP profiles and have onboard Lithium Ion batteries for up to 12 hours of continuous playback with a standby time of 200 hours.

SkullCandy have unveiled their new headphones which need no MP3 player. Insert your SD card holding your tunes straight into the headsets SD slot. The controls are located on the side of the headset and it uses rechargeable batteries (supplied)
Available in 3 colours orange/brown, yellow/white & black. Expected to be available in shops by April 2008, but a price has not been released as yet.

Belkin Rockstar share your MP3 player
Check out this neat little audio sharing port from Belkin. The Rockstar allows you to connect 5 sets of headphones to your MP3 player and was introducted by Belkin at CES. The Rockstar device also allows playback from multiple MP3 players so you can mix and fade-in sounds from any of the connected MP3 players.
March is the expected release date and they will be available for around $20

Strange Gadgets - The Acorn MP3 Player
This has to be one the strangest MP3 players I have seen so far.
The Acorn MP3 player from Evergreen, is shaped like an Acorn and encased in wood, its controls are at the top of the Acorn and you plug your headphones in the bottom.
It comes with 1GB of storage and plays MP3, WMA and OGG files, and measures 28mm in diameter and is 35mm tall.
No word on pricing or availability as yet.

Microsoft has launched it new Zune media players.
Three versions will be available in 80GB, 4GB and 8GB.
