Cool Mods - The Clerks Wii Mod
Check out this amazing Clerks Wii Mod.

It was created for Kevin Smith, by the guys over at morpheon mods.

The Wii was painted using flat gray scale colors to match the black and white clerks characters. The stand features the main characters each back-lit with two “stage lights” that beam up to highlight the custom 3D Clerks logo. The opposite side has a specially back-lit logo of his production company. Finally, the controllers were painstakingly hand painted letter by letter to feature his name one controller and his most famous alter ego on the second.
This is an amazing mod, and the work these guys do over at moprheon mods is simply stunning, head on over there to check out some of their other mods.

VOIP on the iPod Touch, maybe on the iPhone Soon
Some clever coder has managed to get a VOIP application running on the iPod Touch.

The VOIP application used is one for the Nintendo DS, the software used was Samuel’s SvSIP.
SvSIP uses the SIP protocol to connect to other participants and to allow you to talk over WiFi, this is pretty cool and it will be interesting to see how this develops, who knows we may have a fully working VOIP app on the iPhone sometime soon.

Nintendo are launching a video and TV download for their popular DS handheld gaming console.

Initially 300 movies, TV shows, e-books and comics will be available when the service launches, and you will need a PC to download the movies.
The content is then transferred to a Micro-SD card which clots into a special cartridge.

Sony PS3 sales rise after the price cut
Sales in the Sony PS3 have risen over 250% in the US and have also overtaken the Wii in Japan for the first time.

Latest figures from the US show price-cutting there has seen sales leap by around 250 per cent in the week ending 11 November, compared to weeks before the October price snip and launch of the new 40GB model.
In Japan, a traditional Nintendo stronghold, it’s the same story with the PS3 finally managing to outsell the mighty Wii to the tune of over 20,000 consoles in the last week.
I suspect that the main reason the PS3 overtook the Wii in Japan is because of the worldwide shortage of the Nintendo Wii.
Stock of the Wii is selling out as soon as it hits the shelves, and the demand over the Christmas period is going to be huge, but Nintendo seem to have trouble keeping up with the demand for the Wii, so I suspect a lot of people who can’t get their hands on a Wii will be buying a PS3.
