Sony DPF-V900 Digital Photo Frame - Review
As digital photo frames go there is a large selection on the market to choose from, the Sony DPF-V900 is a stunning 9 inch digital photo frame that sets itself apart from the competition.
As with all Sony products, the DPF-C900 is very stylish and very well designed, it has a host of features, and comes with a tiny remote so you can control all the functions.
The built in stand is neat and it allows you to display the frame in either portrait or landscape mode, the display is sharp and crisp and the actual display area is 8.6 inches.
Photos are displayed in a 15:9 aspect ratio and can display images up to a resolution of 8,000 x6,000 pixels.
It also has a built in clock and calendar which is pretty useful. As far as photos go, the Sony DPF-V900 can display JPEG, Tiff and BMP and RAW files.
The best feature of this cool digital photo frame is the auto touch up feature which allows you to correct red eye without having to turn your PC on.
The Sony DPF-V900 will accept a wide range of memory cards, including Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, SD, MMC, CompactFlash, MicroDrive, xD media cards.
It also has a built in HDMI out which means you can hook it up to your LCD TV and view your favourite photos.
Overall the Sony DPF-V900 is a great digital photo frame, packed with feature and it looks very stylish.

World’s smallest x86-based Internet tablet?
Chipmaker Via & its sponsor have created the 3.3-inch square “MTube” the “world’s smallest x86 PC,” and the first “IMP” (Internet Media Player) with TV recording capabilities. The 5.3-ounce MTube measures 3.3 x 3.3 x 0.8 inches (8.3 x 8.3 x 2cm), and sports a 2.8-inch VGA (640 x 480) touch panel display. There’s built-in WiFi and WiMax wireless communications, with CDMA cellular networking optional.

The MTube was shown decoding a simulated digital TV (DVB-T) broadcast. It was also shown streaming video to a wirelessly connected digital photo frame. Advanced digital TV features reportedly include time-shifted TV viewing, via 8GB of built-in flash, and picture-in-picture viewing. There’s also a full browser (mostlikely Firefox) supporting “Web 2.0″ content. Via’s demo of the device featured YouTube video content and Google Maps.

Toshiba’s Stunning New Digital Photo Frame With DiVX
Toshiba have announced details of a new digital photo frame the DPF7XSE.

It features a seven inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480, and also comes with integrated one watt stereo speakers.
It has support for SD / MMC / CF memory, and also come with 256 MB of built in storage, there is also USB 2.0 and it supports JPEG, MP3, WMA, MPEG4 and DiVX.
It comes with an infrared remote, no pricing or release details are available yet.
With all those features it seem more like a mini entertainment centre rather than a photo frame.

iRiver’s New Digital Photo Frame
iRiver’s new digital photo frame the Siren DF150 has a more classic look than a host of digital photo frames available in the market.

The Siren frame is made of Mahogany with the 5.6” QVGA (320×240) LCD set in a metal sub frame. The frame measures 247×177 ×38 mm and weighs 565g (wooden frame without stand).
It will take SD/MMC/MS/CF cards and there is also USB 2.0 connectivity and 512MB of internal memory.
It will be available in either a wooden or acrylic frame, and will go on sale in Japan next month for $125 (about £60)
