Moldable mouse

January 30, 2008 at 11:18 am

This mouse concept by Lite-on is made of lightweight modeling clay with a flexible polyurethane and nylon fabric cover that lets you mold it into whatever shape is most comfortable for you. The stick on, radio-frequency controlled mouse buttons and touch-sensitive scroll pad can be attached in any position to suit the user.

Moldable mouse

Moldable Mouse breaks the boundaries of the traditional mouse with its revolutionary design. Currently, all computer mouse products in the market are made with hard plastic, and their shapes are not universally adaptable to the human hand. Even the most advanced “ergonomically designed” mouse does not fit the preferences of every user. The inelasticity of the plastic model is problematic for long-time usage, as numerous people have suffered wrist injuries from extensive use in a fixed position. Moldable Mouse eliminates this problem with its unique design. more info

One of the first Zink printing products to be released is this Bluetooth pocket printer. The Polarooid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer will run off 2×3 inch full-color pictures and stickers from a mobile phone or camera in seconds.

Instead of storing ink or toner in the printer, the Zink paper itself is impregnated with  advanced heat-reactive dye crystals, which allows you to produce durable, full-color, high-resolution prints from printers so small they can literally fit in your pocket or even be integrated into mobile imaging devices.

Concept - Sony Ericsson mobile with full USB Port

November 17, 2007 at 12:48 pm

Looking at the pictures of this concept Sony Ericsson mobile phone, you could quite easily imagine it as one of Sony’s current models.

usb ericsson

It was designed by Vincent Palicki, and the main difference between this and current mobiles is the full sized USB port.

usb ericsson

It’s a slim candy bar style phone complete with a big screen, standard SE key layout but touched up with stainless steel buttons. Yes it’ll do music, movies, text, email, blah blah and blah so where’s the innovation here? It would be the full size USB port, perfect for any thumb drive. Of course it’s not meant to have a “sore thumb” sticking out at all times, but it’s a way to transfer files like music, videos, and pictures to and from without the need of a computer.
