New XDA Orbit 2 Smartphone with GPS
O2 has unveiled its new XDA Orbit 2 smartphone, which runs Windows Mobile 6 and comes with built-in GPS and the CoPilot Live 7 satnav software preloaded. It has a 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and works with Microsoft’s Direct Push Email technology for BlackBerry-esque email-bothering on the move. More consumer-friendly features include a three-megapixel camera, FM radio and MP3-playing capabilities.

O2 promises up to 450 hours of standby time and up to seven hours of talktime. The Orbit 2 is available now in the UK, with the price varying according to tariff. If you’re a business user, you can opt for a CoPilot Live-free version.

Zero ink printing with Zink paper
One of the first Zink printing products to be released is this Bluetooth pocket printer. The Polarooid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer will run off 2×3 inch full-color pictures and stickers from a mobile phone or camera in seconds.
Instead of storing ink or toner in the printer, the Zink paper itself is impregnated with advanced heat-reactive dye crystals, which allows you to produce durable, full-color, high-resolution prints from printers so small they can literally fit in your pocket or even be integrated into mobile imaging devices.

Logitech DiNovo Mini Palm Keyboard for TV’s PC Systems
Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand the Logitech DiNovo mini keyboard uses bluetooth 2.0 technology to connect to your PC with a range of upto 10m. It is powered by rechargeable Li-on batteries giving a months use between charges, according to Logitech.

Asus launches the F8P Notebook for Christmas
Asus has launched a new notebook the F8P, designed for business users and aimed at the Christmas buyers.

This new notebook comes encased in white leather, and Intel Core two Duo processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 graphics card and a 250GB hard drive.

There is also Bluetooth 2.0, a 1.3 mega pixel webcam, a fingerprint reader and comes loaded with Windows Vista.
The Asus F8P goes on sale at the end of the month for $1,945 (about £975)

Samsung announces the SPH-M4650 Smartphone
Samsung has announced the launch a new smartphone the SPH-M4560 Smartphone.

The Samsung SPH-M4650 smartphone is just 14mm thick and features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen that uses haptic technology that provides tactile feedback when dialing with the touch screen.

The SPH-M4560 uses Windows Mobile 6 Professional and has a Marvell 624MHz PXA300 processor, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a full web browser and a DMB TV tuner.
The Samsung SPH-M4560 will go on sale in Korea for about $600 (about £300)
