ZTC has just released its new ZT598 phone with dual input screens the other is hidden behind the keypad (see the picture after the break). Its also has 7 LEDs on the sides which are rhythmic lights that blink along with the your music.

Samsung announces the SPH-M4650 Smartphone
Samsung has announced the launch a new smartphone the SPH-M4560 Smartphone.
The Samsung SPH-M4650 smartphone is just 14mm thick and features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen that uses haptic technology that provides tactile feedback when dialing with the touch screen.
The SPH-M4560 uses Windows Mobile 6 Professional and has a Marvell 624MHz PXA300 processor, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a full web browser and a DMB TV tuner.
The Samsung SPH-M4560 will go on sale in Korea for about $600 (about £300)

The World’s smallest touch screen watch phone
The MBC C1000 is a watch phone with some interesting features.
It has triband GSM connectivity, Bluetooth and 60 MB of internal memory.
The screen is a 1.5 inc touch screen, with a resolution of 176 x200 in 260k colour.
It also features a built in media player for video and audio, unfortunately it only comes with support for Chinese characters, and doesnt feature multi language support , so don’t expect to see it over here anytime soon.
No pricing or availability details are available at present.

Bang & Olufsen’s New Remote - The Beo5
Check out this new remote from Bang & Olufsen the Beo5.
Its quite an interesting design and is a fully flexible remote that can be programmed to handle any controls of virtually any device.
It features an LCD colour display, with a programmable touch screen, that lets you activate any of the functions you have programmed, through dynamic buttons, of which there are 12.
You can You can combine control of your audio/video equipment with other remote-controlled systems such as light, curtains, windows, air-condition or security etc.
The Beo5 is expect to go on sale later in the year in the US for about $560 (about £280).

The W100, comes with a 65k TFT LCD touch screen, a 1.3 Mega-pixel camera and 1GB of T-flash memory.

$300 Linux Powered iPhone Killer
The World’s first open source phone the OpenMoko NEO 1973, is now available to purchase from OpenMoko.com.
The base version costs $300, it has a 2.8 VGA touch screen, a micro SD card slot, a USB port and 2.5G GSM quad band capability.
The main feature of the Neo 1973 is openness. All the hardware is documented, and the software is all open source, which gives developers a great platform to work on
Will this get the response the iPhone got ?, I guess we will have to wait and see, it is bound to be a hit with the Linux community and developers.

Archos 605 WiFi
Archos has revealed its new PMP device, the Archos 605 WiFi.
The Archos 605 WiFi plays ,movies, TV shows, photos and music, it is also a PVR.
With a 4.3in touch screen, and a 800 x 400 resolution with 16 million colours. WiFi allows you to connect to the Internet and surf, share content and access video sites.
The Archos 605 WiFi will come in 30GB, 80GB and 160GB.
The battery life seems decent with 5.5 hours of continuous video playback and up to 17 hours for music.

HTC Touch - Can it take on the iPhone
HTC has confirmed the launch of its new smart phone the HTC Touch.
The HTC Touch is being launched in the UK, and HTC hope to rival the much anticipated Apple iPhone.
The new smart phone will run Windows Mobile 6, and use a touch screen interface for navigation, which is similar to that of the iPhone.
The HTC Touch will feature an on screen keyboard, and only one button for answering calls.
The new handset is available in the UK today on either Orange or T-Mobile, and will be launched in the US in the second part of 2007.
Whether or not it can be a true rival for the iPhone remains to be seen.

Microsoft’s Coffee Table PC
Microsoft has released details of its new touch screen table PC.
The Coffee table PC is designed be be used without a mouse or keyboard and features a touch sensitive screen for navigation.
Microsoft intends to sell the unit to corporate customer initially, including hotels, restaurants and casinos.
The Coffee Table PC is also designed to interact with mobile phones when they are placed on the touch sensitive screen.
